Craft project completed!

askygoneonfireI made a quilt for my friend who loves Halloween. Costs spiralled and I've spent much more money than anticipated on materials so it's gone from being a late birthday present (her birthday is in July and I told her she couldn't have a gift until October) to a birthday and christmas present combined. I just hope she likes it!
It's my first proper quilt. I couldn't decide which way up to do it so I plumped for landscape although now I wish I had orientated everything portrait! Pictures under the cut which you can click on for larger. The plain panels which look like they have a black line across actually have a ribbon which is little witches on broomsticks, super cute.
Applique bat with french knot eyes.
All folded up and ready to be wrapped (I found some amazing Marvel comics wrapping paper so although I wouldn't normally wrap something like this, I am going to because she'll be super excited about the paper!
