Got back from my whirlwind tour of the Balkans yesterday, took in an astonishing 5 countries and fell thoroughly in love with Bosnia Herzegovina. 

It was a superb trip and worth every penny - although my bank balance is looking rather sad now - from doing the hokey cokey on the Montenegrin/Croatian border to skinny dipping in Dubrovnik at midnight it was basically the perfect trip.  Hopefully the person I know from work who I travelled with thinks so too and I didn't annoy him too much!!!

There are lots of photos on facebook already if I know you on there, there will be a proper post about it later but for now its time for a gratuitous, narcissistic picture post!  My new favourite picture of me, taken in an incredibly ornate Cathedral in Northern Croatia;

Your pictures make me wish I wish I could travel. Each time I try to plan something I end up stressing so much I get heart palpitations and an unbearable headache. :D

Travel with me! The person I went with this time hadn't really travelled beyond school trips/family or friend-holidays and I sorted all the transfers, flights etc etc for us both. Basically I'm an awesome travel agent and all I ask is that you put up with me being occasionally grumpy and frequently argumentative....

I realize I have the most amazing friends ever, making the most amazing offers ever and i'm STUPID to not be taking advantage of this.

I was actually looking at flights last Saturday, and probably would have booked something, except I recently got a thing in the mail alerting me that my credit card company has been bought out by another company -- short version: I don't think It's good anymore. So I have to get that figured out first.

It also gets confusing/overwhelming because I want to visit *everyone* if I ever get over to that side of the ocean. :\

I am very seriously considering a trip to Africa in December - leaving on or around the 26th of December for 2 weeks.
