I am a coastal convert. A Brightonian in spirit if not birth. These days I'm forging a course through a career I worked very hard to get but still feel is somewhat accidental. In the past decade I've dallied with unemployment, underemployment, precarity and a healthy dose of existential despair. I'm occasionally political and, even less frequently, humorous. I'm always looking for the thing that's just over the horizon.

Sometimes I don't have enough spoons. Other days I have so many spoons I can do thirty things at once. This can be a little frustrating. I have a single-issue blog on this topic too.
